In general, about 1,700 international flights (passenger planes only) were carried out through Iranian airports for the 1st month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2022), as was reflected in the statistics of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), Trend reports.
Meanwhile, in the same month of last Iranian year, the figure stood at over 600.
