BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 18. A total of 71,418 passenger cars were manufactured in Kazakhstan from January through September 2022, which is 29.8 percent more than during the same period of 2021, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
In turn, passenger car production in September alone amounted to 8,875 cars, which also is 18.5 percent more than in September 2021.
The number of cargo vehicles manufactured in Kazakhstan during the reporting period stood at 5,384 vehicles (573 in September), and specialized vehicles – at 330 (148 in September).
Furthermore, the number of trailers, semi-trailers, and containers manufactured in September 2022 amounted to 78, which is 22.4 percent more than in September 2021. The number of trailers, semi-trailers, and containers manufactured over the reporting period stood at 475 vehicles, which is 0.1 percent more than during the same period last year.
In turn, spare parts for vehicle output amounted to 135,145 during the nine months of 2022 and 1,458 in September 2022, which is 75.2 times more and 89.4 percent less respectively than during the same period of 2021.
A total of 29 diesel locomotives were also manufactured in Kazakhstan over nine months in 2022.
