Kazakhstan Renders Humanitarian Aid to South Ossetia

Kazakhstan, Almaty, 16 August / Trend R.Mashadihasanli / Kazakhstan rendered humanitarian aid to South Ossetia on 16 August under the President Nursultan Nazarbayev's instruction.

According to Valeri Petrov, the Kazakh Emergency Situations Vice-Minister, 100 tons of humanitarian aid was allocated and 10 tons of them will be delivered urgently by Ministry's planes and 90 tons will be delivered by railway transport (about six carriages). A total of 39 tons of food products, 9 tons of medicines, clothes and bed materials for 1,000 people and 36 tons of construction materials were allocated from the Ministry's state material reserve and the state material reserve of the Health Ministry.

Kazakhstan renders humanitarian aid in more than 63mln tenges amount.
