The Atyrau regional administration confirmed that an unknown man blew himself up in an apartment house in the Atyrau region of Kazakhstan, Novosti -Kazakhstan reported.
"An unidentified man blew himself up on a vacant lot near the Sary-Arka neighborhood at about 9.50 am. The man died as a result. No other victims reported," an employee of the Internal Policy Department of the Atyrau Regional Administration said.
He said a bomb exploded in a garbage bin outside the regional administration building in the Atyrau city in western Kazakhstan at about 9.43 am. He said no casualties reported. The blast did not cause damage to the residential and office buildings.
