Ukraine informed the Kazakh Foreign Ministry about the arrest of a Kazakh citizen on the suspicion of explosives manufacture in Odessa, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported.
"According to the verbal information of Ukrainian party, Kazakh citizen Ilya Pyanzin is currently under arrest in Odessa. He is suspected of crimes committed under two articles of the Criminal Code (intentional damage to property and manufacture of explosives)," Kazakh Foreign Ministry spokesman Ilyas Omarov told the agency.
Earlier, Russian First TV channel reported that Ukrainian and Russian intelligence services had foiled the plans of terrorists preparing for an attempt on Russian Prime Minister and presidential candidate Vladimir Putin's life.
According to the TV channel, the internationally wanted bandits were detained in Odessa. It became known from their testimony that they were going to commit the criminal intent in Moscow immediately after the presidential elections on March 4. The investigation is underway.
