Kazakh First Deputy Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov has been elected to the post of Kazakh National Holding KazAgro Chairman of the Board, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported with the reference to the holding.
Akhmetov will replace Kazakh Agriculture Minister Asylzhan Mamytbekov at this post.
KazAgro implements the national policy for development of Kazakh agro-industrial complex through effective management of investment assets of the companies included in its structure. The holding includes Agricultural Credit Corporation, KazAgroGarant, KazAgroMarketing, KazAgroProdukt, KazAgroFinance, National Company Food Contract Corporation Fund for Financial Support of Agriculture.
