Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev relieved Marat Tazhin from his duties as an ambassador to Russia, said the Kazakh presidential press service.
Tazhin, who has been serving as an ambassador to Russia since 2014, got appointed as the first deputy head of the Kazakh presidential administration.
Meanwhile, Baghlan Mailybaev was removed from the post of deputy head of the presidential administration.
