Arab investor seeks to reshape Kazakhstan's Aktau

Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan from the UAE and a representative of the sheikh in Kazakhstan, Muhammad Bakhush have voiced intention to build a 35-storey residential complex in Aktau.

At a meeting with the head of Kazakhstan's Mangistau region, the Kazakh side acquainted the UAE top businessman with the investment potential of the region, as well as with the projects being implemented. the akimat of the region reports.

Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan voioced proposals to implement the project on construction of a 35-storey residential complex in Aktau and presented the project.

"In the future, we want to contribute to the prosperity of Aktau," said Muhammad Bakhush. "Firstly, we plan to equip the caves located on the shore of the Caspian Sea, build a 35-storey residential complex, build a restaurant, a shopping and entertainment complex and a modern area. We will create all conditions for attracting tourists to Mangistau."

Bakhush voiced the desire to start construction from next year if the submitted projects are approved.

The parties also agreed to hold an economic forum and camel racing, organized by the Mangistau region and the United Arab Emirates.
