BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 21. Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are working on 38 projects with a total worth of $2.2 billion, Serik Zhumangarin, Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan, said, Trend reports, citing the press service of the ministry.
Successful implementation of the projects will create 11,000 job opportunities in both countries. The work on other projects is already underway.
The states have already implemented 10 joint projects, 5 in Kazakhstan, 5 in Uzbekistan.
“We have huge potential for a multifold increase in mutually beneficial joint projects. We already have everything we need for this, including industrial, technological, human, and natural resources,” Zhumangarin noted.
He concluded by saying that with coordinated joint work, the sides will be able to bring the Uzbek-Kazakh partnership to a qualitatively new level.
