BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 13. Kazakhstan’s GDP growth in 2022 amounted to 3.1 percent, while investment growth reached 7.8 percent, Yerulan Zhamaubayev, Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan, said, Trend reports, citing the press service of the Central Communications Service under the President.

Speaking during the meeting with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the finance minister noted that the level of production in the manufacturing industry increased by 3.4 percent, and the growth of the construction sector amounted to 9.4 percent.

Meanwhile, the growth of the agriculture sector reached 9.1 percent.

Zhamaubayev added that the trade turnover increased by 33.4 percent from January through November 2022. The minister noted that a significant strengthening of the positive trade balance was recorded.

At the same time, processed goods exports increased by 33.8 percent, reaching $24.1 billion.

According to the information provided to the Head of State, the plan for the income of the republican budget was over fulfilled by 309 billion Kazakh tenge ($674,4 million).
