BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 16. Kazakhstan occupies the 74th position in the global gross domestic product (GDP) per capita rating, Trend reports, citing the International Monetary Fund’s “World Economic Outlook” report.

According to the publication, Kazakhstan’s GDP per capita amounts to $11,591. In comparison, the Central Asian country reached the $10,310 mark in 2021, which means a 12.42 percent increase in 2022.

The IMF forecasts Kazakh GDP per capita to grow by another 7.23 percent and reach $12,430 in 2023.

Luxembourg is estimated to have the largest GDP per capita among the global states, which reached 127,670 in 2022. Ireland is a runner-up with $102,220, while Norway reached the $92,650 level to claim the third position.

At the other end of the spectrum, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Burundi were the worst performers of the year. They reached $493.57, $327.9, and $292.62 respectively.
