BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 18. The UK is ready to support Kazakhstan in developing alternative routes for oil exports, James Cleverly, UK Foreign Secretary, said at a press conference with Roman Vasilenko, Deputy FM of Kazakhstan, held in Astana today, Trend reports.

And we talked about what the UK can do to help support the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (the Middle Corridor) in order to find alternative ways to export Kazakh products, be it oil and gas or something else. With the help of British experience, investments, we will play an active role in developing opportunities for diversification," he said.

Cleverley noted that the UK will continue to work with the Government of Kazakhstan to explore ways to protect and diversify Kazakhstan's economy.
