BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 20. Kazakhstan's Samruk-Kazyna Invest and Germany's AMK Global GmbH gas and chemical company signed a memorandum to establish a waste recycling plant in Kazakhstan, Trend reports.

The landmark agreement was signed today at the Kazakhstan-Germany Business Forum held in Astana.

The collaborative project aims to introduce advanced waste management technologies and processes in Kazakhstan, focusing on waste recycling, harmful emissions purification, carbon dioxide neutralization, and carbon fiber production.

Meanwhile, Germany's President Frank-Walter Steinmeier is currently on a visit to Kazakhstan at the invitation of the country's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

His visit will last until June 21. As part of his visit, Frank-Walter Steinmeier will participate in the opening of the Kazakhstan-Germany Engineering Institute and the launch ceremony of test drilling at the plant for the production of green hydrogen by the Swedish-German Svevind company.
