BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 2. Customs clearance is one of the main business fields of the Swiss M&M Militzer & Münch Kazakhstan, a source at the company told Trend.

"The main trade lanes for M&M in Kazakhstan are Europe, China, and South East Asia, but with M&M affiliates in around 30 countries, as well as with partners all around the globe, we can offer solutions for any request and demand. The main products transported are fashion (textile), machinery equipment, chemicals, and solar equipment," said the company.

According to the source, one of the strengths of M&M in Kazakhstan is the “one-stop” solution.

"Especially for projects, we offer all-around service from one source, starting from the classification to the international transport leg and customs clearance to storage on-site and local delivery. With this one-stop service, our customers have the advantage of dealing with one partner only and avoiding interfaces in the process," said the source.

Furthermore, it was highlighted that M&M is not only present in Kazakhstan but in all Central Asian countries.

"Due to the natural resources and commodities and the early opening of the market, Kazakhstan today holds a leading role in Central Asia, but Uzbekistan, the state with the biggest population in Central Asia, is catching up and growing," the source added.

As noted by the company, Militzer & Münch's strategy is “to be a regional transport and logistics provider for all countries.”

"Within the 30 years of our presence in the Kazakh market, we learned a lot about the country and the region, and we feel deeply connected to the region’s people, its industry, and society," said the source.

M&M Militzer & Münch has been present in the Kazakh market for 30 years: in 1993, the first company was founded. Today, M&M operates two companies in Kazakhstan and employs a staff of about 300. M&M Militzer & Münch Kazakhstan, headquartered in Almaty, with a branch office in Astana and delegates in Shymkent and Aktau, offers international B2B transport solutions, by road, air, or in an intermodal mix.
