ASTANA, Kazakhstan, December 22. Kazakhstan has begun exporting its IT solutions in the field of e-government development, such as Smart Bridge, Unified Platform for Internet Resources of Government Bodies, and the information and analytical system Smart Data Ukimet to Tajikistan, Trend reports.

According to the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan, this became possible thanks to the joint cooperation of the ministry, National Information Technologies JSC and the Kazakhstan Agency for International Development KazAID.

On December 21, 2023, the team of National Information Technologies provided the first practical assistance in the form of transferring e-government components to the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan.

Thus, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of the transfer of e-government platform systems was signed between the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan.

As part of the memorandum, a team of technical specialists from Kazakhstan's National Information Technologies JSC is carrying out a technical assessment of the digital maturity of Tajikistan’s ICT infrastructure and the possibilities of implementing Kazakh IT solutions. As the ministry noted, preliminary results show that this joint initiative promises to be successful and beneficial for both parties.

Meanwhile, earlier, the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev set the government the task of increasing the export of IT services to $1 billion by 2026.
