ASTANA, Kazakhstan, December 29. Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc LLP (KPI) has begun producing a new grade of polypropylene - PP H350 FF/7, Trend reports.

This grade, which has unique properties, is in great demand in the dynamic polymer market. The PP H350 FF/7 grade represents a promising solution for the production of nonwoven materials, including spunbond and fibers.

The use of this material is widespread in various industries such as agriculture, medicine, construction, light industry, filtration and advertising products.

In agriculture, this type of polypropylene can be used to produce covering fabrics, agrotextiles, equipment for greenhouses.

At the same time, in medicine, the grade is used to produce disposable medical clothing, surgical kits, napkins, and consumables. In construction - for waterproofing membranes, geotextile, geogrid, etc.

Meanwhile, KPI LLP is an integrated gas chemical complex for the production of polypropylene. The complex specializes in processing raw materials from the Tengiz field.

The KPI plant, with a capacity of 500,000–550,000 tons of products per year, is capable of producing up to 64 different grades of polypropylene in granules.

Since the end of September 2023, all four technological lines have been loaded, and up to 1,500 tons of products are produced per day.
