Kazakhstan sees significant growth in number of Visa cards over quinquennium

ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 5. The number of Visa International payment cards in Kazakhstan has more than doubled over the past five years, Trend reports.

The data of the Central Bank of Kazakhstan shows that as of January 1, 2024, there were 37.5 million Visa cards in circulation in Kazakhstan, while as of January 1, 2019, there were only 14.8 million cards in circulation.

Dynamics of growth in the number of visa cards from January 1, 2019, to January 1, 2024:
