(Kazakhstan today) - Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan, and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of Iran, discussed bilateral co-operation and global security at the SCO summit in Shanghai, Kazakhstan Today reports citing the presidential press service.
Mr. Ahmadinejad stressed an interest of Iran in development of friendly and neighbourly relations, bilateral co-operation, for the sake of peace and stability in the region, reports Trend.
The President of Iran is going to participate in the CICA summit due to be held June 17 in Almaty.
