(Kazinform) Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Iran Yerik Utembayev visited Iranian provinces in Caspian Sea region Mazandaran and Gilan; Kazinform refers to press service of Kazakh Embassy to Iran.
Within the visit he met with the governors of these provinces. The parties expressed mutual interest in establishment of closer trade and economic relations between Caspian Sea regions of both states. Iran side is interested in contacts in such spheres as agriculture, transport, trade, fish industry and etc, reports Trend.
Upon the results of the meetings there was reached an agreement on holding exhibition of Iranian production in Aktau town and working meetings of akim (mayor) of Mangystau oblast (region of Kazakhstan) with governers of Iranian northern provinces and representatives of business circles of the two states.
Besides, Y. Utembayev visited number of provincial industrial and economic units.
