Kazakhstan, Jordan create joint economic commission

(gazeta.kz) - Kazakhstan and Jordan will create a joint economic commission, Maroof al-Bakheet, Prime Minister of Jordan, has said today, November 9, at a briefing after a meeting with the President of RK in Astana.

"We have agreed on creation of a joint economic commission, whose first beeting will take place before the visit of Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan," - Mr. al-Bakheet said, reports Trend.

The Jordanian PM noted that at the talks with the President of Kazakhstan they had discussed a wide range of issues of the bilateral co-operation. "Unfortunately, today the commodity turnover between our states is not at an adequate level," - he stated adding that "an opportunity of establishing free trade relations between our two states was discussed with the head of Kazakhstan."

"Jordan wants to strengthen co-operation with Kazakhstan in different areas," - Mr. al-Bakheet said.
