CEC says parliamentary elections may cost $3M in Kyrgyzstan

The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan evaluates the cost of parliamentary elections in the amount of 135-140 million soms (about $ 3 million). The statement was voiced by the head of the CEC of KR Akylbek Sariev 24 kg reported

Today, as expected, the CEC will approve a budget for the elections. The budget, reportedly, includes remuneration for members of regional, city and district electoral commissions. Previously, their work was not paid. In addition, it is expected that there will be increased costs for training for members of commissions.

Once approved by the CEC, the estimates will be submitted to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic on approval.
