Kyrgyzstan was never before so dependant on external players, leader of Ata Meken faction Omurbek Tekebayev stated at faction's meeting today, 24.kg reported.
According to him, regular trips of country's leaders to neighboring countries are another evidence of that. "In their zeal to cover the enormous deficit of the country authorities run into new debts and this complicates more the situation. They make unjustifiable sale of the strategic facilities," Omurbek Tekebayev thinks.
As the leader of the faction noted, the treasury of the country suffered significant losses due to wrong policy toward strategic facilities. "Let's take the situation around Kyrgyzneftgas OJSC. Today many politicians say that Ata Meken is making a fuss of this company because we lost 'gravy train'. I want to note our faction started to address this issue because personnel of the company together with the public asked us," Omurbek Tekebayev added.
