Eurasian Development bank to open mission in Kyrgyzstan

Azerbaijan, Baku, Nov. 16/ Trend/

Kyrgyz First Deputy Prime Minister Omurbek Babanov and Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) Chairman Iqor Finogenov have today signed an agreement on opening EDB's mission in Kyrgyzstan, 24.kg reported.

The EDB member-states "made headway in partnership development and achieved significant trade turnover between Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan", Babanov said.

In this regard, hew said, the strengthening and broadening of mutually beneficial trade and economic ties between the countries is crucial for both sides with further diversification of export-import operations through production facilities.

EDB was founded on the basis of interstate agreement signed by representatives of Russian Federation and Kazakhstan. The founding initiative belongs to the presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan. Its charter capital is $1.5 B.
