Social Democratic fraction leaves ruling coalition of Kyrgyz Parliament

Fraction of social-democratic party of Kyrgyzstan (PDAP) officially announced its withdrawal from the coalition of parliamentary majority, MP from the faction SDPK Toktogul Tumanov told KyrTAG on Friday.

"The decision was made unanimously at a Friday meeting of the SDPK faction. Twenty MPs participated in the meeting. This issue was discussed at the previous meeting of SDPK faction with the participation of 23 MPs from the faction. But then it was decided not to announce the decision officially," Tumanov said.

According to Tumanov, the decision is made after careful consideration and has weighty causes.

"The government has worked well whole year, but the coalition itself could not show its advantages. We have not had a single position and there was no unity," Tumanov said.
