The European Bank of Reconstruction and Development will provide Kyrgyzstan with a loan worth 60 million euros for building insulation, director of the State Agency for Construction and Regional Development, Kanybek Narbayev said during a press conference, KyrTAG reports on Tuesday.
"According to our calculations, insulating homes can save up to 40 per cent," Narbayev mentioned.
According to Narbayev, 30 per cent of the loan will be granted to Kyrgyzstan.
As the statement shows, the Kyrgyz Jogorku Kenesh adopted a law 'On energy efficiency of buildings and structures' in 2011.
