Airport "Issyk-Kul" in the village of Tamchi will be able to receive all types of aircraft in 2014, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jantoro Satybaldiyev said at the opening of the tourist season in Cholponata on Sunday, KyrTAG reported.
"First of all, it is necessary to create the conditions for tourist inflow. These are service and reasonable prices. Government is busy, first of all, with the reconstruction of the airport in the village of Tamchy. Next year, the airport will accept almost all types of aircraft," he said.
According to him, there is another priority project in the field of logistics.
"This is the reconstruction of the airport in the town of Karakol. But we have to finish the airport in Tamchy who is not receiving all types of aircraft," Satybaldiyev said.
It should be noted that this year the airport in the village of Tamchy will serve charter flights.
