Ministry of Health Talantbek Batyraliev conducted a meeting with representatives of Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), headed by Chief Engineer Abdullah AlShoaibi, Kabar reports.
The sides discussed the projects that are planned to be realized in health sector, specifically implementation of the loan agreement for construction of new building of the City Children's Clinical Emergency Hospital (CCCEH) in Kyrgyzstan. Currently the tender procedure for choosing an advisory company is conducted, the selected company will conclude an agreement with the Ministry of Health to develop a Technical Economic Assessment (TEA), the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
In addition, issues related to grant assistance for equipping the Medical Research Institute of Heart Surgery and Organ Transplantation, two hospitals in Osh and Issyk-Kul regions with establishment of a dialysis department, as well as the medical equipment for TB Hospital in Bishkek were discussed during the meeting.
"We are grateful to Saudi Arabia for their support in Kyrgyz Health sector. The Ministry of Health from its side will carry out all necessary work for successful implementation of planned projects," Batyraliev said.
