KGS 2.2 billion were granted under the Agriculture Financing-10 project since the beginning of the year, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan Nurdin Alisherov said at a meeting of the Committee on Budget, Economic and Fiscal Policy of the Jogorku Kenesh on Monday, Trend reports with reference to Kabar.
He added that concessional loans are given to Kyrgyz farmers at 6% per annum.
According to the Kyrgyz Ministry of Agriculture:
1. A total of 1 thousand 716 loans in the amount of KGS 714 million 307 thousand were issued in the category of Crop Production;
2. In the Cattle Breeding category, 2 thousand 843 credits amounting KGS 1 billion 460 million 349 thousand were issued;
3. In the Agro-processing category, a total of 52 loans were issued for a total amount of KGS 115 million 160 thousand.
A total of 4,611 loans in three categories were issued in the amount of KGS 2 billion 289 mln 816 thousand.
