BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 6. Kyrgyzstan has increased the value of vehicles and its spare parts imports by 6 times in January 2023, compared to the same period of 2022, Trend reports via the State Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan.
In the reporting period, Kyrgyzstan imported vehicles and its spare parts for $102 million. In comparison, the value of imports was $16 million in January 2023.
At the same time, the exports of vehicles and its spare from Kyrgyzstan have significantly dropped in January 2023, and amounted to $1,500, which is a decrease of 290 times compared to $436,300 in the same month of 2022.
Meanwhile, Kyrgyzstan notes an increase of almost two times in the country’s trade turnover in January 2023 over January 2022. During the period, the value of Kyrgyzstan’s foreign trade turnover totaled $767 million, while the figure was $384.6 in January 2022.
The value of Kyrgyz imports amounted to $524 million in January 2023, which is a decrease of 1.5 times, compared to $346 million in January 2022.
At the same time, the value of Kyrgyz exports totaled $243 million in the first month of 2023, increasing by 6.3 times over $38 million in January 2022.
