Kyrgyzstan in top five for cheapest RON 92 fuel prices among EAEU

BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, November 1. Kyrgyzstan has ranked fourth among the EAEU countries in terms of the cheapest RON 92 fuel prices as of November 1, Trend reports.

Data from the Antimonopoly Regulation Service at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan reveals that the average price per liter of RON 92 was 64.1 soms ($0.72) as of November 1. Among the EAEU countries, lower prices were found in Kazakhstan at 39 soms ($0.44), Russia at 49.4 soms ($0.55), and Belarus at 63.1 soms ($0.71).

The situation is similar for diesel fuel prices: in Kyrgyzstan, the average price for diesel was 69.1 soms ($0.77) per liter as of November 1, while it was lower in Kazakhstan at 56.1 soms ($0.63), Russia at 61.8 soms ($0.69), and Belarus at 66.2 soms ($0.74).

The prices for RON 92 gasoline and diesel fuel were higher in Armenia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

The service noted that a number of current issues related to fuel prices and supplies to the country have been resolved.

Fuel will be supplied to Kyrgyzstan without duties, which should help maintain fuel price stability. The negotiation results have also resolved matters regarding uninterrupted railway deliveries from neighboring countries, including the supply of fuel. However, specific details of the negotiations were not disclosed.

According to the service, the current situation in the fuel market is stable, and there is no shortage.
