BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, December 23. Kyrgyzstan's trade turnover with Germany amounted to $343.217 million from January through October 2023, accounting for 2.8 percent of Kyrgyzstan’s total trade, Trend reports.
Data from Kyrgyzstan’s Statistical Agency reveals that trade increased by 2.8 times compared to the same period in 2022 ($120.921 million).
Kyrgyzstan’s exports to Germany totaled $6.157 million from January through October 2023, decreasing by 52.5 percent compared to the same period in 2022 ($12.965 million). Its share in Kyrgyzstan’s total trade reached 0.3 percent.
The country’s imports from Germany amounted to $337.059 million, rising by 3.1 times compared to the same period in 2022 ($107.956 million). This accounted for 3.4 percent of Kyrgyzstan’s imports.
Kyrgyzstan’s trade turnover reached $12.297 billion from January through October 2023, increasing by 24.9 percent compared to $9.845 billion in the same period of 2022.
Exports from Kyrgyzstan totaled $2.443 billion during the 10 months, which is a 29.6-percent increase compared to $1.885 billion recorded from January through October 2022. Imports into Kyrgyzstan amounted to $9.854 billion during this period, reflecting a 23.8-percent increase compared to the same period in 2022 ($7.959 billion).
