Overall profit of Tajikistan's State Budget amounted to 2 billion Somoni ($421million) in the first quarter of 2012, Asia-Plus reported with the reference to the head of the Tajik Finance Ministry's Department of Budgetary Policy in Economic Sectors, Temurali Avganov.
This figure is 4 percent more of the planned volume or 261million Somoni more as compared to the budget's profit in January-March, 2011.
According to Avganov, total expenditures of the State Budget in the first three months of 2012 amounted to 1.8 billion Somoni or 85.4 percent of the plan.
"Delays in funding are closely linked to untimely information provided by related ministries and departments as well as with the implementation of parameters of the joint investment projects," Avganov said.
Budgetary expenditures increased by 227.5 million Somoni in the first quarter of this year as compared to the same period of last year.
According to Avganov, 802.4 million Somoni was allocated for the social sector.
"The volume of funds allocated to social sector coincides with the requested volume," he said.
