BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 25. The plant for the manufacture of gasoline from natural gas, located in the Gokdepe district of the Ahal region in the south of Turkmenistan, significantly increased production from January through June 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
During the reporting period, the enterprise manufactured products worth 309.8 million Turkmen manats ($88.5 million). At the same time, production growth amounted to 156.8 percent.
The main products of the plant are ECO-93 gasoline manufactured from natural gas.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. Its gas reserves have increased by 126 billion cubic meters as a result of the industrial development of recently discovered gas fields.
At the same time, the country pays great attention to the creation of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
