BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 21. Turkmenistan has exceeded the plan for the manufacturing of food products from January through November 2022, Trend reports with reference to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Annageldi Yazmyradow at an expanded meeting of the government.
According to him, during the reporting period, the plan for growing vegetables was exceeded by 15.3 percent, melons by 9.3 percent, and fruit and berry products by 9 percent.
Furthermore, the Deputy Chairman noted that the plan for the manufacturing of bread and flour products was exceeded by 5.2 percent.
He stressed that wheat is currently being cared for, and agrotechnical measures are being carried out, including fertilizing with mineral fertilizers and vegetation irrigation.
Agriculture in Turkmenistan is developing rapidly. This is one of the most important sectors of the economy of Turkmenistan.
