BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 10. The Аk pamyk enterprise located in the Lebap region of Turkmenistan produced 463 tons of cotton products from January through February 2023, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
According to the information, in value terms, the factory manufactured cotton products worth over 1.22 million Turkmen manats ($348,200).
The production plan of the enterprise from January through February of this year was provided in the amount of 931,100 Turkmen manats ($265,755).
Furthermore, the enterprise manufactured over 3,000 tons of cotton products in the amount of 7.28 million Turkmen manats ($2.07 million) in 2022.
Turkmenistan plans to allocate more than $300 million for implementation of over 30 projects in the textile industry by 2025.
Major investments will be directed not only to expanding existing capacities but also to creating more than 10 new production facilities based on current enterprises.
