BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 19. State-owned enterprises of the Lebap region of Turkmenistan from January through March 2023 increased the manufacturing of industrial products by 11.8 percent compared to the first quarter of last year, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
This was announced by the head of the Lebap region Shohrat Amangeldiev at a government meeting held on April 15.
According to him, during the specified period, the volume of domestic trade turnover of the Lebap region amounted to 109.7 percent compared to the first quarter of 2022.
At the same time, Amangeldiev reported on the necessary efforts being made to complete construction work at the facilities that are planned to be put into operation this year, as well as on real seasonal agricultural work.
At the meeting, the results of the government's work in the economic sphere for 3 months of 2023 were summed up, draft documents were considered and priority tasks of the socio-economic development of the country were discussed.
