BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 12. Turkmenistan's state budget revenues surpassed the initial forecast by 13.3 percent during the period from January through May 2023, Trend reports.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Turkmenistan Hojamyrat Geldimyradov at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on May 4.
As per his statement, the expenditure portion of the state budget reached a fulfillment rate of 97.6 percent, and the volume of disbursed investments at the expense of all sources of financing increased by 27.7 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
During the meeting, the outcomes of the government's efforts in the economic domain over the course of five months were evaluated. Several draft documents were reviewed, and priority tasks related to the socioeconomic development of the country were discussed.
