ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 4. The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan has unveiled intentions to conduct a bidding process for the privatization of 48 government-owned assets, Trend reports.

According to the official source, the auction will be held on September 20 via a digital auction site for state property. Service sector facilities, including shops, cafes, canteens, a wellness center, administrative buildings, a carpet factory, and production facilities, will be put up for auction.

Among the most significant items available for auction are a livestock and poultry farm (25,500 square meters) and a two-story building in the Lebap region; the Dowrebap shopping and leisure complex (8,800 square meters) in the identical region; a pipe manufacturing facility in the Dashoguz region (6,400 square meters); and the administrative premises of the Nur Zaman enterprise in Ashgabat city (4,300 square meters).

The auction will be carried out electronically using the state property's online auction portal and the mobile app linked to this platform.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan also initiated the sale of 45 state-owned assets at the end of July 2023.
