ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 17. Turkmenistan's trade turnover with Netherlands totaled more than 60.74 million euros from January through August 2023, a source at Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, told Trend.
During the specified period, the amount of trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Netherlands increased by almost 6.3 percent compared to the first eight months of the previous year (57.14 million euros).
Dutch imports from Turkmenistan from January through August 2023 reached almost 2.2 million euros, an increase of 2.9 times compared to the corresponding period in 2022, when it amounted to 750,433 million euros.
At the same time, Turkmenistan's imports from the Netherlands during the specified period reached a total of 58.54 million euros, which is 3.8 percent more than in the first eight months of 2022 (56.39 million euros).
Meanwhile, the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and the Netherlands for the whole of 2022 amounted to 83.86 million euros, which is 17.3 percent more than the trade turnover in 2021, which amounted to 71.45 billion euros.
