Turkish companies get new contracts for construction and reconstruction of residential houses in Ashgabat

(turkmenistan.ru) - The Turkish companies would construct and reconstruct a number of residential houses in the Turkmen capital on the orders of the Ashgabat city administration.

In particular, Turkmen President Saparmurat Niyazov signed a special resolution authorizing the Ashgabat city administration to sign a contract with Turkish company Macc Insaat Sanai Yatyrym we Tijaret LTD STI for design and construction of a 12-storey building with 48 luxury apartments, including landscaping of adjacent territory, in the southwest of the capital, the Ashgabat correspondent of Turkmenistan.ru reports.

The document also orders that neighboring 3- and 4-storey houses be decorated with marble and connected to new engineering systems, reports Trend.

The total cost of the project is US $ 9 million (VAT included). Construction work should start in November 2006 and the building should be ready in February 2008.

According to another resolution by the Turkmen president, the capital city administration is authorized to sign a contract with Turkish company Algan Celik Inshaat for construction of 3 additional floors to a 5-storey house in one of the Ashgabat avenues. The contract provides for decoration of the building's face side with marble and landscaping of adjacent territory for the total sum of US $ 3 million. Construction work should start in November 2006 and the building should be commissioned in October 2007.

The projects will be financed at the expense of the State fund for development of Ashgabat.
