President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov congratulated Almazbek Atambayev in connection with his election as President of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbek presidential press service said on Saturday.
President Karimov wished his Kyrgyz counterpart success in his activity, the Kyrgyz people - peace and prosperity.
As is reported, Almazbek Atanbayev won presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan, gaining 63.2 percent of votes.
