Uzbekistan to create clusters of youth entrepreneurship

The government of Uzbekistan has approved a resolution "On organizational measures to create clusters of youth entrepreneurship."

The government approved the proposal to create clusters of youth entrepreneurship in the regional centers and cities of Uzbekistan.

The activity of the created entrepreneurship clusters will be managed by district and city councils of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan.

Under the decree, clusters will involve youth engaged in entrepreneurial activities and assist in the preparation of necessary documents.

The clusters will also help young people learn about the basics of doing business. Clusters will carry out the functions of business incubators to create start-ups, increase the competitiveness of young entrepreneurs, and the sustainable development of their activities.

The total population in Uzbekistan is over 30 million people. Uzbekistan's population accounts for approximately 46 percent of the total population of Central Asian states.
