Experts from Belarus to help create technopark in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan's new technology park to become the first university subject of the innovation infrastructure in the country, Trend reports via Uzbek media.

The participation of the BNTU “Polytechnic” Scientific and Technological Park in this project as a co-founder will allow integrating the scientific and innovative potential of the BNTU and the Tashkent State Technical University (TSTU).

This unique project in its concept will be implemented in Tashkent this year.

Meeting of the working groups on the creation of a Technopark was held with the Belarusian and Uzbek parties in the framework of the visit of delegation of BNTU to the TSTU from January 24 to 31.

The priority of the project will focus on production of medicine. To this end, a meeting with local Center for Emergency Medical Care and Uzbek Specialized Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan were held.

At the meeting, the high level and great need for healthcare institutions was noted. Also, willingness to jointly develop and organize production in the Technopark with the participation of medical and engineering-technical specialists of Belarus and Uzbekistan was mentioned.
