Uzbekistan shares data on GDP per capita

GDP per capita of Uzbekistan amounted to 13.5 million soums ($1,248) in 2021, which is an increase of 6 percent compared to 2020, Trend reports referring to the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.

According to the results for 2021, the share of small businesses in the country's GDP amounted to 54.9 percent.

In terms of regions, the largest share of small business was noted in the Jizzakh, Surkhandarya, and Bukhara regions of Uzbekistan. The smallest share of small businesses was noted in Navoi and Tashkent regions.

The GDP of the Republic of Karakalpakstan (Uzbekistan) for 2021 increased by 7.4 percent and amounted to 26.2 trillion soums ($2.4 billion).

GDP growth of Uzbekistan in 2021 was due to positive growth rates in the main sectors of the region's economy, such as agriculture, forestry, and fisheries with its share in the GDP structure amounted to 28.8 percent, industry (26.7 percent), construction (8.5 percent), and services (36 percent).
