BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 25. Agricultural production in Uzbekistan worth 126.8 trillion soums ($11.6 billion) from January through June, 2022,Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
During this period, crop products in value terms amounted to 54.1 trillion soums ($4.9 billion), and livestock products - 72.6 trillion soums ($6.6 billion).
From January through June, 2022, the largest volume of agricultural production was noted in the Fergana region (13.5 trillion soums or $1.2 billion), and the smallest - in the Syrdarya region (3.4 trillion soums or $312.7 million).
Agricultural production in Uzbekistan in value terms amounted to 302.5 trillion soums ($27.9 billion) in 2021, which is an increase of 20.8 percent compared to 2020 (250.2 trillion soums or $23.1 billion).
