BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 17. Uzbek Thermal Power Plants JSC talked about activities implemented in preparation for the autumn-winter season of 2022-2023, Trend reports via the Uzbek Ministry of Energy.
It was planned to carry out 30 repairs, including 12 power units, 1 turbine unit, 9 boiler units, 7 combined-cycle plants, and 1 gas turbine unit at the enterprises of the company.
To date, 54 power units, 31 boiler units, 6 turbogenerators, and 8 combined cycle plants have been repaired according to the overhaul and current repair schedule.
At the same time, 65 current and major repairs have been completed on power transformers with a voltage of 35-110-220-500 kV, major and current repairs of 290 circuit breakers, separators, instrument transformers, relay protection devices and automation with a voltage of 35- 110-220-500 sq. Current and capital adjustment works in this direction continue.
At present, work is underway at power plants to ensure reliable and uninterrupted operation of natural gas supply system equipment in the autumn-winter period.
In particular, in order to ensure the reliability of the fuel supply to power plants, work was completed to install additional gas filters in the gas network of Tolimardzhanskaya TPP JSC, and repair gas compressors for combined cycle units of the Management Company Turakurganskaya TPP.
At Navoi TPP JSC and Tashkent TPP JSC, work is underway to replace gas meters with modern equipment and create a reserve of natural gas filters for modern combined cycle plants.
