TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, February 27. Azerbaijan has started exporting RON-92 gasoline to Uzbekistan since December 2023, Trend reports.
Uzbekistan purchased 2,321 tons (or $1.5 million) of RON-92 motor gasoline from Azerbaijan.
Gasoline was exported at a price of $650 per ton.
In total, Azerbaijan sold 33,112 tons (worth $23.01 million) of motor gasoline abroad in 2023.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan manufactured 124,600 tons of motor gasoline in January 2024, which is 10.8 percent less year-on-year.
In addition, Uzbekistan's Uzbekneftegaz oil and gas company reduced diesel fuel price by 15 percent.
Uzbekneftegaz offered EURO-5 SSDF diesel fuel at a reduced price of 11.6 million soums ($939) per ton from all warehouses of oil depots owned by the JSC on February 19.
