TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 8. Uzbekistan's Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AMMC) exported products worth $129.8 million in the first quarter of the current year, Trend reports.
According to the combine, the forecast was fulfilled by 106.9 percent.
The AMMC exported 11,324 tons of copper products and 7,163 tons of zinc products.
In addition, the forecast indicators for the export of rhenium, cadmium, copper sulfate, palladium powder, molybdenum products and lead concentrate were fulfilled.
Meanwhile, AMMC exported products worth $81.99 million in the first two months of 2024, exceeding the forecasted figure by 1.3 percent.
A total of 7,304 tons of copper products, 4,643 tons of zinc products, 132 tons of molybdenum products, and other goods were exported to foreign customers during this period.
Furthermore, according to Deputy Chief Engineer of AMMC Abdukakhhor Sainazarov, the combine manufactured industrial products worth 31.7 trillion soums ($2.51 billion) in 2023.
