TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 31. Uzbekistan reached an agreement to open a trade house jointly with Italian Peng Sheng Charm Company in Prato (Italy), Trend reports.
The news followed a meeting between a business mission led by representatives of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade with Italian Confidustria Toscana Sud, Vittoria Makina, Pratica, Alpe S.P.A and a number of other companies in Italy.
During the meetings, Uzbekistan presented its production potential and considered the possibility of expanding industrial cooperation, including the establishment of manufacture of goods under Italian brands not only in the leather industry, but also in other sectors.
Both sides noted the issue of introducing technologies of deep processing of leather waste at Uzbek enterprises in cooperation with Italian enterprises.
Meanwhile, a business mission led by representatives of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade has been on a visit to the EU countries since July 24 this year.
The delegation has already been to Poland and continues its mission in Spain.
