TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, September 7. Uzbekistan's volume of exports of industrial goods reached $2.47 billion from January through July 2024, Trend reports.
The nation's Statistics Agency data indicates that this figure increased by 1.2 percent during the same period last year ($1.3 billion).
In general, the specific weight of industrial goods in the overall volume of Uzbek exports reached 16.8 percent.
The exports of industrial goods mostly included textile yarn, textiles, ready-made items ($1.2 billion), non-ferrous metals ($461.6 million), iron and steel ($124 million), rubber products ($241.6 million) and others.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's volume of exports and services amounted to $10.5 billion (excluding non-monetary gold) from January through July 2024, thus increasing by 12.9 percent compared to the same period in 2023 ($9.3 billion).
In the structure of exports, goods accounted for 74.9 percent, out of which 16.8 percent fell on industrial goods, 7.3 percent- food products and live animals, 6.3 percent -chemicals and similar products, and 28.6 percent - other goods.
